Gmail
Access scope is determined by your OAuth token in Gmail. Revoke the token upstream and access ends immediately.
What it can access
- Messages and threads in your mailbox
- Labels and folders you have access to
- Attachments on messages you can read
- Contacts referenced in your email
What it cannot do
- Cannot access mailboxes belonging to other users
- Does not permanently delete messages
- Does not send email on your behalf without explicit confirmation
- Cannot access resources outside your OAuth scopes
